Following on from my post about the scraping noise which turned out to be the timing Fiat Tipo 160 1988-1995 Bosch S3 Battery 70Ah Electrical System Replacement Part, I seem to be going from one disaster to another! When I collected my van last night the Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement at the garage recommended I replace the battery as it was weak looks like it's been 335 Titanium Car Van Battery 720CCA - 4 Year Warranty since new Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement probably didn't have much life left in it.

He also suggested I probably need some new glow plugs. Thats OK I thought, I'll do it at the weekend. It seems that was a fatal error! I drove about 20 miles this morning to collect something, stupidly left my sidelights on and when Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement came back to my van it would only turn over slowly so I had to get the AA out, they did 2 battery tests that where inconclusive but recommended a replacement battery.

So Cmbo a jump start which took Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement considerable amount of cranking the Combo eventually fires up, he checks the alternator and their paperwork shows the "charge rate under load is I make my Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement way home, fit a brand new battery, spin it round the block then low and behold when I get home it won't start.

The mrs then bends my ear and says you should Banneg changed the "glow plugs too", so she pops out to get some whilst I remove the old ones. Now it uBll to be Replqcement up ok and so far it's Replscement every time I've tried it, the test will be tomorrow as I have to go to Cheshunt in the morning so I hope I don't have any more starting issues as I don't think the AA will be happy if I call them again!

Anyway my question is had anyone succesfully removed a snapped glow pug on one of these without taking BBattery the head? I've seen websites that suggest you can tap into a left hand thread into the remaining part of Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement plug and then use a left hand threaded bolt to remove it. After Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement expense of having Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement chain done I don't really want it back in the garage to have the head off to get the stuck plug.

It may be I just have to live with only having 3 Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement working glow plugs! Bloody van is Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement in the garage this morning, got 20 miles down the motorway and it lost power. Symptoms similar to a flat battery, but then Vauxhwll it would crank like the one in this youtube clip.

Called the AA out again and when it did start this time not needing a jump start it was Rplacement out white smoke and there was also fumes chuffing out around the glow plug on cylinder 1 which was the one I couldn't budge. I'm hoping the loss of power and difficult restart is just down to lack of compression due to this glow plug and the fix is just a case of taking the glow plug out and replacing it, and there's not anything else wrong.

Anyway AA have towed me back to the garage Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement it's now in their Replacemment. If they get it running I think I'll be getting rid of it before it gives me any more Replwcement Annoyingly it started first time when Batteryy left this morning! Hope u sort it: I've got rid of it and got a Berlingo, garage said turbo had blown which was possibly Replacenent a result of the metal fillings scraped off the timing chain cover when the slack chain was catching it, it was also leaking exhaust gas from somewhere, and they said the clutch Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement on Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement way.

It also had a knackered EGR. Anyway I traded it in as it was for a Berlingo so I could keep running. I've been let down now by two 1. Though I'll still be popping on here as we also have a 1. Good luck with the Berlingo, if you thought 1.

I worked for the Royal Mail for 4yrs and have run 3 Combo's from about 20, miles without too many issues. I snapped a glowplug in my Mrs 1.

Blimey just spotted Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement old thread I posted on has come up. Had no problems with Vauxhall Combo Mk1 Mk2 1994-2011 Banner Power Bull 72Ah Battery Replacement other than sagging drivers seat and it sailed through MOT!

Sent from my SM-N using Tapatalk. A replacement oil cooler resolved it but then it did same thing 3, miles later. Van is now for sale on ebay for spares or repair as garage suspect head gasket or cracked block. Personally I'm not sure about their diagnosis but as I can't work without a vehicle and I need to be mobile quickly I've just had to bite the bullet and have bought a Vauxhall Combo.
